JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Jefferson City Medical Group is pleased to welcome Brandon Jenson, D.O., who joined JCMG Surgical Specialists on February 1. Dr. Jenson brings a new service line to JCMG: foregut surgery and hiatal hernia repair.
Dr. Jenson comes to JCMG with extensive expertise and training. After graduating from medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Jenson completed a residency in general surgery at Northeast Regional Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in foregut and bariatric surgery.
Dr. Jenson is board-certified by the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. As a general surgeon, Dr. Jenson works closely with patients and their physicians to diagnose and provide timely surgical treatment for conditions involving hernias, soft tissue, and the digestive system. Dr. Jenson specializes in acid-reflux surgery and hiatal hernia repair.
Originally from Idaho, Dr. Jenson now calls Missouri home. When he’s not in clinic or the operating room, he enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors with his wife and five children.
